These guys are amazing I applied originally on my own for injuries sustained during service. The VA denied my claim. That when I contacted Unruh Law. They were friendly, professional and very helpful. that day I was sent over papers to sign and retain their counsel. They relentlessly appealed every denial until I was approved for 70%. I could not be more thankful for their team. This only took a total 2 years. Which is relatively short for these claims. I was skeptical at first but they took my case and after a time I went from a 90% to 100%. time frame can’t be blamed on them as we all know how the VA works. it takes 8 months to a year for everything you file. Just be patient and things will work out. had I done this on my own it could have taken 10 plus years. I know many guys who took over 10 years to finally get 100 and they did it in less than 2. it’s a win in my book. People want to see results overnight but that just won’t happen with the VA. patients is key.

I found John Unruh’s Law Office in the internet looking for local Attorneys who specialize in VA Claims. John took my call and told me they do not typically take on first time claims. His Firm specializes in denied claims. As a long time Veteran, I had a disability while on active duty back in the 1986/1987 but I never applied for any benefits. Since my disability was diagnosed, I continue to get regular check-ups and take medication every day. As I am in my early 60’s now, I asked for John’s help with my initial application and he took on my case and worked my application with the VA. It took about a year for the VA to make their determination but I was awarded a high percentage disability and 12 months of back-pay when they formally made their determination.

John has been absolutely great! We won the case!!!! It’s always very difficult to deal with the VA. When doing it alone it’s literally impossible due to all of the bureaucracy and changing laws/procedures. John understands it all and is constantly keeping up with changes. My case took longer than usual on the VA side due to Covid, however on John’s side, he was on it. He was very responsive, took time to respond back in details both via email and phone. I honestly could not be happier with the outcome. I highly recommend John. My family and I are now in a much better place thanks to John. Thank you and your team John!!! When my somewhat routine domestic partner dissolution spiraled quickly out of control, I realized I couldn’t handle it alone.
